Breaking Dawn

I finally finished the book! It took me a week and I totally neglected my house for the last two days to push to get it done. I did cook dinner and feed the children, but that was about it.
DON'T CONTINUE READING IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE BOOK!!
I'm not sure that I like that the series is over, it seemed like there could be other books, but then they would kind of be redundant too. Call it my need for torment, but I'm not sure if I really like the way it ended. It's like she felt the need to tie up all the loose ends. I'm not sure I needed or wanted it to all end with the typical Happily Ever After. I think it could've ended where "Bella" began. I was totally convinced that Bella was dead and the rest of the book was going to be about Edward trying to kill himself and Jacob and Renesmee carrying on. I cried. I like the way things turned out between Bella and Jacob, but it seemed a little too perfect that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee and forgot all about Bella.
I almost cried again when Alice left. I thought, "no way she could abandon them like that...either she is coming back or they all really are going to die." What a great series. Let's hear what you think.

I loved this series! But it is not over. She is writing it from Edwards point of view called "Midnight Sun". You can read the first part on her web page StephanieMeyer.com There is also a movie that will be out on Dec 12, 2008. I know it's weired that I know this much, but my Young Women have been reading it and some Wed. nights that's all we talk about. I also neglected things to finish the book. But it was worth it.

You know I wasn't quite so sure about the ending myself. I kind-of wanted a fight to go down with the Volturi. I hate that they just left... Anyway, she better keep on writing, she left it wide open for more books!

I agree with you- it was a little too Happily Ever After. But, I'm excited that there is a new book "Midnight Sun". Do you know when it's coming out? I can't wait!

I loved it! I actually liked the happy ending. I didn't want her to die, so I was glad it turned out this way.

I thought that the story was over too. I am glad to hear that she will be coninuing on with more plot lines. Very exciting!

I hated the book! It was far too long! I had to actually cook (macaroni and cheese with hot dogs counts, right?), spend time with the children (it turns out I have 3), my internet and television time were cut significantly (the computer and television have this fancy thing call a "power" button that actually turns them off). Maybe next time you guys can agree to read something better, like 1984, The World is Flat, or Freakanomics.

Scott, I don't think boys are aloud to read this book. You don't know how to appreciate it like we do. :)

I think this is a book all Mothers should read. It turns out that fathers learn a lot during this fun read. Scott is about the 3rd guy I've heard of that learned that electronics have an off button and that children need to be fed once in awhile.

Come on now. I wasn't serious, except for the book recommendations.

I was referring to Joy's comment:
